The 10th Day of the 9th Moon of the Year
I was able to go with Franklin to the marketplace today. I asked people about the symbol when Franklin was distracted. We had been there for at least two hours and no one knew anything about it. I was about to give up, but the last person I was going to ask knew! Apparently this is the guild that follows Alan! THE Alan…I did not know anyone would want to follow that horrendous monster. He slaughters people mercilessly and leave nothing but a gory mess and that horrible, horrible “A.” I heard he even carved his initial into someone’s skin once. It was terrifying when that happened. I never imagined anyone would want to follow him. I can barely believe one person would do such a thing, let alone an entire guild!
The man who reviled this to me, he is an old man named Sohar, wanted to borrow the drawing so he could look into it more. I will be getting it back from him tomorrow. I refused to tell him how I found the symbol until he told me more. He seemed a little unsure, but agreed. It feels weird to not have that drawing now. I am not sure why, but it does.
I do not think I will be able to sleep tonight. There are more out there. More monsters that call themselves human.
