Notes on Elemental Flight:

I loved these stories. One goes into the legend of Phoenixes’ rebirth, even though it is untrue, the story was still captivating. It was of a Phoenix who bonded with a human during the time they were hunted, it was killed defending here, and then she helped protect the Phoenix after it had been reborn. She continued to help defend the Phoenixes, even feeding false information to the hunters to steer them way. The story does have a tragic ending though. She was finally killed defending the Phoenixes. Legend has it there is a beautiful tree near where the Phoenixes used to roost that grew over where her body was laid to rest. Some even say it’s a haunted area for anyone wishing ill upon the Phoenixes. Why must everything have a sad ending? Is there no happy ending in life?

The 2nd Day of the 1st Moon

We are about a quarter moon from Fantana now. The next problem is where in Fantana could they be? Even though there is some animosity between elves and humans in Fantana, it is not as bad as Bellmora. So much traveling. It almost seems as though we are not getting any closer to finding my family. Even though so many days have passed, it just does not feel as though we are getting anywhere.
