This is fascinating! Gahila is addressing the legend of the Golden Dagger. I never thought much of it, but he goes into several versions of the legend from various regions. I did not realize this legend spanned so far! There are versions that originate from miles north of the Northern Lands and farther east than the Smoking Mountains. I have not even heard of some of the regions he mentions. I wish I had more time to read, but Franklin has invited me to go to the market again, which I am quite enjoying.

Beautiful. Even that word does not do her justice. Gorgeous. Stunning. There are no words. I have to figure out how to meet her again. I do not think lessons will be cancelled as they were today. I had not seen her before. I must find a way to figure out who she is. However it is, Franklin is going to have to know. Would he let me skip lessons?
