The 6th Day of the 11th Moon
It was terrible. I understand why no one was buying the book Cherish found. Not only was it falling to pieces, but the topic was on politics during King Rothnal’s reign. I told Cherish that I was going to read a bit of it before I started teaching her in order to determine the best way to do it. I do not know if I can tell her the truth about this. She holds the book in such high regard. I think I am going to start with her telling me some of the stories she made up. Maybe I can go from there. I just hate to even imagine her face if she learned the truth about her book.
Franklin is working to help me find things to do that will not injure my arm any more. He has been fairly short on ideas; however, he is working with some of the more experienced workers that might have a wider list of jobs. I did not want to tell him I am fine and just want to spend time with Cherish, but I do hope he does not find anything so I can just spend time with her.
