The 3rd Day of the 10th Moon
I have not been able to sleep. I even tried taking a nap in the middle of the day, but I cannot sleep even then. I tried to go to the library to read some, hoping to get my mind off of everything, but it was closed because the guests were scheduled to come today. When I tried to at least see who they were, Franklin forced me back to my room.
I cannot believe he is still keeping secrets from me. He did not seem happy about who it was that came, but he will not tell me who they are or why he does not like them. I could not even convince him to go to the marketplace. He refused to leave me alone in my room until now. He had servants bring us our nightly meal and everything. My ability to trust him is draining fast. He is not protecting me at this point, he is keeping me captive.
